Several key questions come to mind to ask during the ERP software selection process:
- Ask to speak to customer references in the same industry and business you are in.
- Push hard to understand what's in the product roadmap and what will be included in an upgrade.
- During the demo, get clarification of which ERP functions are available out-of-the-box, which functions are add-ons, which functions have been customized and whether the software is vaporware.
