demand-driven manufacturing (DDM)

Demand-driven manufacturing (DDM) is an approach to manufacturing where production is based on actual orders rather than forecasts. DDM is also referred to as flow-drived manufacturing (FDM) or just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing.
