My organization is in the planning stages of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation project. What are some of the biggest mistakes organizations make and what should we avoid?

1.) Lack of top-down support
2.) The perspective that ERP implementation is an IT project
3.) Lack of realistic resource planning
4.) Lack of data migration planning
5.) Lack of organization change management plans
6.) Lack of risk management and mitigation
7.) Lack of communication with the entire organization
