ERP implementations rarely fail solely because of poor employee training. I say that because if core team members aren't trained to use the system, then business requirements can't be validated and business processes can't be correctly defined, so the failure would mostly likely be caused further upstream in the implementation. An effective ERP implementation plan would incorporate a "train the trainer" approach, where business people would develop end user procedures for the end users.
