  1. Ask to speak to customer references in the same industry and business you are in.
  2. Push hard to understand what's in the product roadmap and what will be included in an upgrade.
  3. During the demo, get clarification of which ERP functions are available out-of-the-box, which functions are add-ons, which functions have been customized and whether the software is vaporware.
