IT Challenge: Achieving sustainability through 3PLs

I'm considering using a third-party logistics provider (3PL) to outsource my logistics needs. My company is very committed to sustainability and wants that to carry over into our transportation methods. What should we look at or expect from our 3PLs as far as sustainability goes?
